Why is it that as we get older, most people’s musical tastes are stuck in the era of when they were in their 20s and early 30s? They are not interested in the new artists or think that they can’t compare to bands from the past.
It’s a concept that John Peel couldn’t understand. As he said, people still enjoy new films as they get older why not new music?
So, for those of you who can enjoy The Enemy, The Vaccines and White Lies as well as The Jam, Pink Floyd or Echo and the Bunnymen this site is for you.
As well as album, single and gig reviews, we now have sections devoted to looking at the latest books, movies (in the cinema and on blu-ray), food and drink, gadgets and games. Anything that fits in your man-cave (or your drive).
In short, anything you can listen to music on or in or with, or just stuff that our crack team of writers and news hounds think is really interesting.
Please feel free to send us any comments or your own reviews and recommendations.
