To celebrate The Simpsons’ 30th anniversary in December, The Springfield Salary Index has created by Distinct Recruitment to find out who has earned the most over 30 years. Using the equivalent salary for a character’s job role, the figures also take into account the impact of inflation since the show began. This is very much the kind of in-depth analysis My Dad Rocks approves of and is setting our brains whirring as to what other cartoons can be prodded for such revelations…we’ll keep you posted.
Surprisingly, Mr Burns is not as rich as he’d like us to believe, coming in 4th place!
